We are seeking a Project Manager to join our Australian team. Reporting directly to the Program Manager (Australia), this role is vital in coordinating the client onboarding process across all functions. At Shaype, we prioritise a flexible working environment while valuing in-person collaboration. Our current working model includes 2 days in our Surry Hills office, with an expectation of additional office days as and when required.

What We Need

Shaype is experiencing rapid growth as we scale our embedded finance ecosystem. To support this, we're seeking a Project Manager to join our Australian team. Reporting directly to the Program Manager (Australia), this role is vital in coordinating the client onboarding process across all functions.

Role Overview

As Project Manager, you will play a key role in managing customer onboarding projects, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining strong relationships with internal teams. You will support onboarding activities, coordinate activities across teams, and help streamline processes to provide a smooth experience for clients.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Project Coordination: Manage onboarding project timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communication

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with Shaype's technical, operational, product, customer success management, contracts and vendor management, sales, and risk and compliance teams to meet project goals

  • Reporting & Communication: Keep the business and leadership informed of project progress, risks and issues, recommending solutions as needed. Support weekly onboarding governance forums, communicate across tech and business teams

  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for onboarding enhancements, advocating for best practices and efficiencies

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • 3-5 years professional experience within fintech or payments; experience with customer onboarding is a plus
  • Strong organisation skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proven track record of engaging and collaborating with technical and non-technical teams
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
