What We Need

Shaype has been rapidly building out its embedded finance ecosystem for the past 6 years and in doing so has achieved accelerating growth and uncovered significant opportunities in the marketplace.

Due to this ongoing growth, we have an opportunity to add to our existing Australian team. We're looking for a Head of Product who can execute on our immediate Product needs and has the drive to evolve and expand the Product function in the medium term to meet the future needs of the business.

About the role
As the Head of Product at Shaype, you will lead our Australian business Product team, working closely with a range of stakeholders (including our UK based tech Product team). You will be responsible for shaping the product vision, aligning cross-functional teams, and driving execution across strategic and tactical solution-focused capabilities.
This role requires a dynamic leader with deep experience in financial services, payments, and embedded finance. You will need to be able to demonstrate the ability to engage and influence at the strategic level while also being comfortable working at a more granular level to ensure we maintain a high standard of execution.
This is a rapidly evolving part of the Shaype business where we expect roles and responsibilities and reporting structures to change over time. You must be comfortable working in a changing environment and being part of the conversation that drives its evolution.
Key Responsibilities
Roadmap and Product Lifecycle Management

Product Strategy & Vision: Define and evolve the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with Shaype’s business objectives and market opportunities.

Portfolio Management: Oversee the lifecycle of Shaype’s product offerings, ensuring scalability and alignment with customer needs and technological advancements.

Commercial Alignment: Work closely with leadership and key stakeholders to ensure products drive revenue, efficiency, and long-term growth.

Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilise analytics, customer feedback, and market insights to optimize product performance and customer satisfaction.
Product Design and Delivery

Requirements Management: Define and prioritize product requirements based on customer feedback, business needs, and regulatory considerations.

Execution & Delivery: Work with a range of teams to ensure a clear go-to-market-plan for new capabilities is established and delivery standard remains high.

Continuous Improvement: Partner with sales, marketing, and customer success teams to ensure strong adoption of new product features and further refinement is captured and fed back into the product roadmap.
